Sans Youth is a protean, concept-based initiative driven by contemporary art practices and social responsibilities. Each project explores a unique idea by both established and emerging artists. In the spirit of collaboration, Sans Youth aims to establish meaningful relationships with our artists whilst forming a community that celebrates such tenets as egalitarianism, synchronicity, and cultural heterogeneity.

Sans Youth is committed to maintaining social consciousness and integrity through various collaborations with it's artists.  

Michael Bailey Gates is an artist living and working in New York City and Los Angeles.  The collaboration between Michael Bailey Gates and Sans Youth aims to raise money and  awareness for Visual AIDS.  Visual AIDS utilizes art to fight AIDS by provoking dialogue, supporting HIV+ artists and preserving a legacy, because AIDS is not over. 

Aïda Ruilova is an artist living and working in New York City.  The collaboration between Aïda Ruilova and Sans Youth aims to raise money and  awareness for the Joyful Heart Foundation.  Joyful Heart’s mission is to transform society’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse, support survivors’ healing, and end this violence forever. 

Carly Mark is an artist living and working in New York City.  The collaboration between Carly Mark and Sans Youth aims to raise money and  awareness for the Trans Lifeline Microgrants.  TLM provides low-barrier financial assistance to, and advocates on behalf of, trans folks attempting to navigate complicated legal and bureaucratic systems.  By listening to and trusting trans people, they allow them to self-determine their own path to care. 

Nick Van Woert is an artist living and working in New York City.  The collaboration between Nick Van Woert and Sans Youth aims to raise money and awareness for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.  The NAACP LDF is America's premier legal organization fighting for racial justice.  Through litigation, advocacy, and public education, LDF seeks structural changes to expand democracy, eliminate disparities, and achieve racial justice in a society that fulfills the promise of equality for all Americans.  LDF also defends the gains and protections won over the past 75 years of civil rights struggle and works to improve the quality and diversity of judicial and executive appointments.

Daniel Arnold is a photographer living and working in New York City.  The collaboration between Daniel Arnold and Sans Youth aims to raise money and  awareness for Variety - The Children’s Charity of Wisconsin.  Variety’s vision is that all children, regardless of ability, are able to actively participate in their communities and experience all of the joys that come with being a kid.

Brad Phillips is an artist living and working in Toronto, Ontario.  The collaboration between Brad Phillips and Sans Youth aims to raise money and  awareness for Planned Parenthood.  Planned Parenthood believes in the fundamental right of each individual, throughout the world, to manage his or her fertility, regardless of the individual’s income, marital status, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, national origin, or residence.
